The Merchants’ Association, or DMA, is a non-profit organization of merchants, restaurateurs, businesses and private members of the community. We are committed to working with the Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Development Authority, the City of Dahlonega and various other organizations to bring you events such as:
The Mountain Flower Fine Art Festival
Since 1987, Dahlonega has celebrated the 3rd weekend in May with a juried Fine Art festival.
The DMA partners with the Dahlonega Arts Council and the Master Gardners Expo to present a wonderful collection of native gardening ideas and plants and a collection of fine artists around the historic Square. It’s a beautiful way to spend a weekend!
Independence Day Celebration
Partnering with the Chamber of Commerce and the City of Dahlonega, our Independence Day celebration is complete with barbecue, watermelon, a pet fashion show and a parade.

So New It Doesn’t Have a Name
The DMA is sponsoring our first annual antique and vintage collectible show on the historic Dahlonega Square. This event will take place the 3rd weekend of September and is currently

Olde Fashion Christmas Celebration
Every year, Dahlonega transforms into a magical wonderland of lights, luminaries and
Christmas spirit. We’re famous for our month long celebration, which includes an annual
gallery walk, merchant open house, parade, carolers and Christmas wonder.
